In the fast-paced world of parenthood, we are often encouraged to present a polished image of perfection. But here's the truth: parenting is messy. From diaper explosions to food fights, our little ones have a knack for creating beautiful chaos around us.
Cow & Gate is there for those spirited, lighthearted, and adventurous parents who strive to give their best every day.
Approached to reimagine Cow & Gate’s Insta grid, I worked alongside a copywriter to help shape a fresh identity that spoke more to the personality of the brand.
For this work, the goal was to align closely to existing branding, and ensure the C&G red sat front and centre. I included cut-out photography, and borrowed the light blue gradient from their packaging to add multiple dimensions.
I also wanted to illustrate the messy, imperfect essence of parenting through collage, textured backgrounds and paint strokes. The aesthetic of these hand-drawn elements creates a mixed reality where real-life interacts and intertwines with the dream-like whimsy of childhood.
